What is the opportunity?
The Care Micro Enterprise scheme was set up to help Cambridgeshire residents to stay living independently in their homes for longer. Care Micro‑Enterprises (CMEs) are small, community‑focused local care providers who deliver personalised, flexible support to people in their local area.
Criteria for Joining the Care Micro‑Enterprise Trusted Provider List (ADAM)
Care Micro‑Enterprises (CMEs) are small, community‑focused care providers who deliver personalised, flexible support to people in their local area. To ensure high‑quality, place‑based care, all applicants to the CME Trusted Provider List must meet the criteria outlined below.
Business Eligibility
To qualify as a Care Micro‑Enterprise, applicants must demonstrate that they meet all of the following:
1. Have an established office base within the county of Cambridgeshire
2. Fewer than 10 full‑time equivalent (FTE) staff including Directors, Managers, Admin staff and Zero hours staff currently delivering work.
3. Annual turnover below £2 million
4. Care businesses must not be a franchise or a division of a larger company

How to sign up as an
Approved Supplier
1. Register for an account on SProc.Net
2. Fill out an Accreditation form for Cambridgeshire County Council's Care Micro Enterprises category
3. Submit an Enrolment form and select the types of services you can provide
