Criteria for Joining the Care Micro‑Enterprise Trusted Provider List (ADAM)
Care Micro‑Enterprises (CMEs) are small, community‑focused care providers who deliver personalised, flexible support to people in their local area. To ensure high‑quality, place‑based care, all applicants to the CME Trusted Provider List must meet the criteria outlined below.
Business Size and Eligibility
To qualify as a Care Micro‑Enterprise, applicants must demonstrate that they meet all of the following:
Annual turnover below £2 million
Fewer than 10 full‑time equivalent (FTE) staff
Cambridgeshire Location Requirement
To ensure CMEs can provide responsive, place‑based care within local communities, all applicants must meet one of the following:
Have an established office base within the county of Cambridgeshire, or
Be actively working towards a planned move to operate an office within Cambridgeshire’s borders
This requirement ensures CMEs can operate locally, build trusted relationships and remain closely connected to the communities they support.
